Lemon Chive Rice,This makes a lovely meal served with chicken or pork, steamed carrots and a light fruit salad. (My personal favorite fruit salad: honey melon, kiwi and fresh raspberries with a splash of lemon juice and a sprinkling of vanilla sugar).,I made this using the turmeric option. I also used fresh garlic chives. DD didn’t care for it at all, but the rest of us really enjoyed it. Served as a side to the sal on we had for dinner.,You really can’t go wrong with any recipe that has curry, and this one was no exception. I followed the recipe exactly other than using about a tsp of curry and using homemade vegetable broth. My rice was cooked a tad too long so it was a bit sticky, but that was my fault. Flavor was fabulous.

Melt Margarine. |
