Lemon Couscous

Features:
    Cuisine:

Followed the recipe to the letter to serve with spicy grilled shrimp, but just wasn't impressed. Maybe it was because I fresh squeezed on orange for the juice, but it tasted far too much like orange, no lemon taste at all. Might have liked it better if I'd left out the OJ and added pine nuts. As it was, don't think I'll be saving this recipe. Oh well, there are plenty of other good recipes on GK that'll keep me coming back!

Lemon Couscous,This recipe goes with fish entrees, has a delicious lemon zip and is easy to make! From Cooking Light.,Followed the recipe to the letter to serve with spicy grilled shrimp, but just wasn’t impressed. Maybe it was because I fresh squeezed on orange for the juice, but it tasted far too much like orange, no lemon taste at all. Might have liked it better if I’d left out the OJ and added pine nuts. As it was, don’t think I’ll be saving this recipe. Oh well, there are plenty of other good recipes on GK that’ll keep me coming back!,I’ve been enjoying this for years as a side dish for any kind of fish prepared any way. I add freshly toasted pine nuts or sliced almonds. The parsley isn’t absolutely necessary but does boost the flavor if you have it.
