Lindas Low Carb Italian Casserole

    My family devoured this casserole and there wasn't any left. It was delicious and low carb. This is easy to make, relatively low carb, and crazy delicious. The higher the fat content in the dairy items, the lower the carb. So, it's a trade of off your own preference. We went for full fat and almost no carb. Enjoy, however you prefer.

    Linda’s Low Carb Italian Casserole, From Linda’s Low Carb recipe website used low fat sour cream and cheese (You may use low fat cheddar cheese if preferred ) I make the topping ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to assemble , My family devoured this casserole and there wasn’t any left It was delicious and low carb This is easy to make, relatively low carb, and crazy delicious The higher the fat content in the dairy items, the lower the carb So, it’s a trade of off your own preference We went for full fat and almost no carb Enjoy, however you prefer , Any true low carver would not use low fat cheese or light sour cream due to the sugar that is added to these ingredients when the fat is removed 17 net carb per serving is far from low carb especially considering there is very little vegetable in the dish

    Brown the Meats, Garlic, Onions and Mushrooms, Season With Salt and Pepper.

    Drain Fat, Stir in the Rest of the Ingredients (except For Those Listed Under Topping).

    Put Meat Mixture Into a Greased 7"x 11" Baking Dish.

    Combine Topping Ingredients and Spoon Over the Surface of the Meat Mixture, Then Spread Evenly With a Spatula.

    Bake at 350f For About 40 Minutes or Until the Topping Is Nicely Browned.
