Low Fat Low Calorie Ginger Cherry Oatmeal Granola Cookies, These tangy cookies are unique and almost like granola clusters!, I’m not American and I’ve never made cookies before so I could have done with more detailed Directions Both the reviews were helpful and used 1 cup of cherries and 1 of sultanas Not enough ginger for us, I would use 3 teaspoonsful next time and maybe even more They needed 15+ minutes to cook but this may be a result of converting the temperatures a bit loosely Will make them again and thanks , I tried the recipe as is and it is good! The second time around I tweaked it a bit used Safflower Oil in place of lighter bake butter In place of sugar substitute, used 1/2 cup Natural Florida Crystals used 1/2 cup water, added 1/2 teaspoon Orange extract, used 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 3 teaspoons Nutmeg Then I added 1/2 cup Golden Raisins, 1/2 cup Dried Cranberries, and 1 cup Pecans I eliminated the Cherries used a Ice Cream Scoop to drop them on a greased cookie sheet This makes 15 -4 cookies I baked them at 350 deg for 18 minutes Sorry for all the changes, but they are good Excellent basic recipe, easy to make changes Thanks!
