Low Fat Spinach Onion Dip, or low fat onion spinach dip Either title works well for me The yogurt really works well in this recipe, but it does add a different texture to similar recipes that have sour cream and cream cheese But I seriously doubt anyone is going to know any difference as this turned out really great Prep time includes thawing time, which I did halfway, hence the cooking of the spinach and the chill time , Yum!! I did not make ours low fat though as low fat products are not healthier I did not thaw my frozen spinach before cooking it, used regular cooking onion, sea salt, sweet butter (unsalted), thick yogurt, Hellmans olive oil mayonnaise to be soy free, dried parsley & dried basil, garlic salt, to taste as that is what I had, plus freshly ground black pepper Served it with broken up rice cakes to be gluten free (that’s low fat) I may make this again Made for Please Review My Recipe: from 10 July 2011~, This was very yummy! I served with ranch peppercorn sun chips for a delightful lunch Thanks!
