Directions
Lucky Sweet and Sour Sauce, My most favorite Sweet and Sour Sauce I often add pineapple, sliced green pepper and maraschino cherries You can use it as a dipping sauce or add it to cooked meat or poultry , I pan fried a large pork chop along with chunks of onion and tomato I halved the sauce ingredients since it’s for 2 of us Used Orange-Pineapple juice I sliced the pork (it was not yet fully cooked) into bite size pieces after letting it cool for 10 minutes I put the pork chop back into the pan, with the onions and tomato, added the sauce ingredients and cooked until the sauce thickened It was a bit sour and sure it was because of the tomatoes, but mom wanted them I did not mind because it had a nice tang to it Will definitely make sauce again without using tomatoes, and use this sauce for meatballs, chicken, beef, fish, leftovers anything! Very versatile Thanks Lorac !
