Mandarin Almond Salad

Features:
    Cuisine:

A quick, refreshing salad to make at the last minute. used the juice from the mandarin orange can as suggested by another reviewer and toasted the almond slices. The only thing I would change, a personal preference is to add some mayo or dijon mustard to the dressing to make it a little thicker. Thanks, Carole in Orlando

Mandarin Almond Salad,Another Mandarin Almond Salad. Only slightly different from the one Inez posted. Can’t go wrong with either one. This is good stuff!,A quick, refreshing salad to make at the last minute. used the juice from the mandarin orange can as suggested by another reviewer and toasted the almond slices. The only thing I would change, a personal preference is to add some mayo or dijon mustard to the dressing to make it a little thicker. Thanks, Carole in Orlando,Excellent! be sure not to add the dressing until right before serving (dummy me!) as it got really soggy. used two prepared bags of romaine as it was easier for me. I also added chow mein noodles for added crunch. My family loved this recipe.
