Marie Callender’s Style Cornbread,Great cornbread recipe, very close to Marie Callendar’s..kinda sweet but oh so good!,I’ll be making this again. My usual recipe is far more work. This turned out great, even for high elevation baking. I did adjust the time.,Made this for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it. Didn’t tell them it was cake with some cornmeal in it and served it with a whipped honeybutter (basically frosting). Divine. Excellent recipe and it is possible to make cornbread without a cast iron skillet and without Jiffy mix. My son has asked me for more since that honeybutter is still sitting in the fridge. I would consider cutting down the sugar, but why mess with perfection?
