I have a question. I do not use canned chickpeas. I prefer to soak the beans overnight and boil them in the morning. Would the measurement for me be the same, still 2 cups of chickpeas?? Thanks, Mark

Mark Bittman’s Hummus, I absolutely adore Mark Bittman’s recipes They are easy They don’t require any hard to find, expensive ingredients and best of all they taste good , I have a question I do not use canned chickpeas I prefer to soak the beans overnight and boil them in the morning Would the measurement for me be the same, still 2 cups of chickpeas?? Thanks, Mark, This is how I make my hummus too! I don’t add the parsley, but other than that it’s dead on Give this a try, you will love it! In my opinion, the cumin is what really makes this delicious!
