Mary Sattlers Chip Dip

Features:
    Cuisine:

This is a very special recipe to me -- and I've given it a very special name. Mary Sattler was my mother. I remember Mom making this dip in the late 40's. We had it quite often -- Friday night's were "party nights". It was when my sisters and I were allowed to share a bottle of "Coke" (there were 4 of us, so we split 2 bottles of Coke). I'm sure Mom found this recipe somewhere -- she was not the type of person to create her own recipes. But I never actually saw her use a recipe -- not a measuring cup or spoon in sight. So I've done my best to come up with measurements that will give you the dip my family grew up loving.
