Mashed Potato Pie,I don’t know where this recipe originated, but it has been an old stand by on my mom’s dinner party tables for years. It actually bakes up to look quite impressive. Please don’t try to substitute fresh mashed potatoes (believe me I have tried) the instant box stuff provides the perfect texture.,Both my husband and son loved this. I cut the recipe in half and substituted gouda for the mozzarella. I actually forgot to add the garlic powder, but it was still wonderful. Great recipe!,Just made it today and it was really good came out just like the photos. Thanks for sharing.
