Meni-Meniyong (Malinese Sesame-Honey Sweet), Meni-meniyong is a wonderful Malinese sesame-honey sweet It’s very easy to make and is great for kids and adults alike I didn’t include cooling time Enjoy!, This was great! After reading UmmBinat’s remark I reduced the butter, and it firmed up nicely with the creamy honey used Thanks for this lovely treat!Made for ZWT 7 , I love the taste and like Cadillacgirl think this may be a Canadian sweet as well as I grew up eating something similar that came packaged from the stores Mine turned out too soft It seemed to me there was way to much honey used creamed honey and did simmer for the full amount of time but it just slightly turned darker so I expect it would work better to simmer longer I was nervous to do that though go over the time and burn it I didn’t know how dark it was supposed to be but Cadillacgirl told me she cooked her honey quite a bit I may try this again as the taste was what I love without the corn syrup of the store bought version! Made for ZWT7 Africa, for my team, Food Commandos
