Mexican Hot Chocolate

    I've made this recipe numerous times and keep forgetting to review it. It's wonderful. It reminds me of the Mexican hot chocolate from our favorite Mexican restaurant in NYC. I tweak this recipe by using 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar instead of the 4, and it is sweet enough. I enjoy this hot chocolate with Stella D'oro anisette sponge cookies.

    Combine Sugar, Cocoa and Cinnamon in a Small, Heavy-Duty Saucepan; Gradually Stir in Milk.

    Warm Over Medium Heat, Stirring Constantly, Until Hot (do not Boil).

    Remove from Heat, Stir in Vanilla.

    Beat With Wire Whisk Until Frothy.

    Serve.
