Mexican Pizza Like Taco Bells,This tastes exactly like Taco Bells Mexican Pizzas.,Remove the tortillas from the paper bag. Place them on a cookie sheet, then stick them in the oven.,This is a great recipe I found after a complete failure trying to make something similar off the top of my head. My changes were to use 1/4 lb ground turkey cooked in a skillet along with 1/4 cup onions and 1/4 cup green peppers then 1/3 cup medium salsa. With a spray bottle mixture of water and peanut oil, I sprayed both sides of corn tortillas and placed them in a 2nd hot skillet to crisp / fry. Using homemade refried beans (no salt added) I then did a layered Tortilla – refried beans – meat mixture – tortilla – shredded cheddar jack. Put under broiler for 3 minutes till cheese was lovely and melted, then added shredded lettuce and diced Roma tomatoes. Served with sour cream in a small dish on the side. SO DELICIOUS!
