Microwave Self Saucing Chocolate

Features:
    Cuisine:

For some reason, the recipe of my mother's use just doesn't work anymore and I don't do anything I haven't done before. But I jumped onto Google and found this. Gave it a go - didn't have anything to loose. Rich and chocolaty though I don't measure the cocoa - I just spoon it in. Very sweet but how chocolate pudding should be. I only cooked on high for 10 minutes but I found it a little dry and heavy. Next time I'll use oil instead of butter and I bring the milk to the boil and add half a teaspoon of baking soda. I think you need to add in the different power levels for different watt microwaves though so there are a lot less disappointed people. Other than it being a little dry and heavy, it was thoroughly enjoyed and is going into my book for next time!

Microwave Self Saucing Chocolate Pudding,One of the easiest recipes in the world – cant screw it up!,For some reason, the recipe of my mother’s use just doesn’t work anymore and I don’t do anything I haven’t done before. But I jumped onto Google and found this. Gave it a go – didn’t have anything to loose. Rich and chocolaty though I don’t measure the cocoa – I just spoon it in. Very sweet but how chocolate pudding should be. I only cooked on high for 10 minutes but I found it a little dry and heavy. Next time I’ll use oil instead of butter and I bring the milk to the boil and add half a teaspoon of baking soda. I think you need to add in the different power levels for different watt microwaves though so there are a lot less disappointed people. Other than it being a little dry and heavy, it was thoroughly enjoyed and is going into my book for next time!,um, a whole cup of sugar? Are you out of your minds?!? Sorry. I put 1/2 cup in. But 12 minutes was too far. I put it in for 5, checked it and put it in for another 5 them AHHH!!! Burnt and hard as a rock. Had to chuck the whole thing out. You could hear me crunching on it. Also, the instructions weren’t clear like pouring boiling water over it. How much water? Tweak it and make the instructions more clear. I would have worked out better for more people.
