MILKY WAY Lover’s Pound Cake, This cake takes a little bit of extra effort but it is worth it! If you like Milky Ways, you will like this : It comes out looking and tasting like a “professional bakery” cake, but better., Milky Way Cake has been around for ages, at least back to the ’60’s. My mother’s recipe is delicious although Milky Ways are not as big as they used to be, so today you have to improvise a bit and add a little more to compensate. Her recipe makes a sheet cake. I’ve never seen it done as a bundt cake., You cant really make a good cake with regular flour. You must use cake flour. Always beat your eggs separately and get them nice and full of air bubbles. At the very end of your adding and mixing ingredients, gently FOLD in the beaten eggs.
