Enjoy!,When I lived in Texas, we put white gravy on just about everything, honestly I don’t know how I never gained a pound. 11 years ago, I a vegan, this is because I saw how animals are tortured in slaughterhouses all over the world and then suffer even more with an inhumane and violent death. And once I discovered this, I didn’t want animals suffering daily then dying for my meals. Just watch the documentary Dominion, you’ll see. Anyway, use to use almond milk, but then discovered is is not sustainable to the environment, so I switched to Oat milk, it’s great and used it in this recipe. I had to modify this recipe quite a bit. First it was too much flour, 3 TBS. so I had to keep adding more and more ‘mylk’ to the recipe. I added less salt. In the the end, it came out perfect. hadn’t made white gravy in years and forgot how I made it, of all the recipes online though, I liked this because the ingredients were simple, like the gravy use to make.,It is just me eating breakfast most days some mornings my husband eats with me. He is Muslim so whenever I mention gravy he automatically shuts it down. I want to make this gravy bc I absolutely love biscuits and gravy so i am wondering is it ok to split the ingredients in halves to make the gravy so i don’t have too much extra? Also I have never heard of white gravy with garlic before, do you suggest adding still as a breakfast gravy?
