Ms Winnie’s Chocolate Pie, This recipe is from a neighbor that used to love to visit when I was a child She lived to be over 100 years old and was still baking just as active at the end of her life as she had been for years She would let me help her in the kitchen and I think she fostered part of my love of baking , We enjoyed this very much, great chocolate flavor and lovely creamy texture Followed the recipe exactly I would probably prefer it topped with cream, but I wanted the meringue so I wouldn’t have to think about what to do with the egg whites 😉 Thanks!, Creamy chocolate flavor so much better homemade then from a box I bought whole milk just for this recipe and it set up perfectly We like whipped cream for topping, however let me comment that your meringue is very beautifully done! For looks and taste I give it my highest star rating
