Muhammara Spicy Walnut, Red Pepper Dip

Features:
    Cuisine:

I don't know what 'dip' means other than it goes on the plate like mayonnaise/salad cream or houmous. It's a 'spread' in the Levant as it is in the UK or put directly on the plate with or without other foods, like in most Middle Eastern countries. If eating with hands in those countries, these spreads are 'wiped' off the plate with bread, like curry sauces, but use a knife & fork. Like Houmous, it's used a lot in sandwiches by vegetarians/vegans. This particular spread lives up to the "fabulously tasty" description & has a pleasant crunch that went well with my salad, it's so nice I am going to make more later, only had enough walnuts to make this. (Hand chop walnuts otherwise you end up with 'flour').
