    Mushroom Stuffed Cheeseburgers, A yummy burger stuffed with sauteed mushrooms!Adapted from Diana Rattray, Your Guide to Southern U S Cuisine Hamburgers originated in Germany In the USA, New England claims the honor of introducing it, then it’s popularity spread all over the US , i love the meat done this way this is how my family makes meatloaf really nice adding mushrooms zaar tour 6, I don’t usually do more then add garlic powder, pepper & worstershire to my burger meat, so this was a real treat I cut the recipe down to one serving using 1/3 lb of ground beef and I pan fried it The first bite oozed and juiced down my plate, I was thinking maybe I should have blotted the mushrooms before adding to the center, but oh well, it tasted great Part way through the whole thing started to disintergrate a little so this not a burger for the neat and fastidious : ) Grab you napkins and maybe a bib, but try the burger!     Combine Ground Beef, Onion, Eggs, Bread Crumbs, Ketchup, Salt, and Pepper; Shape Into Into Twelve Thin (about 1/4-Inch Thick) Patties.

    Melt the Butter in a Skillet and Saut the Mushrooms Until Just Tender.

    Place Mushrooms on 6 of the Patties. Top With Remaining Patties and Seal Edges.

    Broil or Grill the Burgers to Desired Doneness.

    Top Each Burger With a Slice of Cheese and Let It Melt. Serve on Split Toasted Buns. Enjoy!
