My Dill Dip,This is a great tasting Dill Dip that I have used for years. I usually double this recipe and keep it on hand. Cook Time is Chill Time,This was very good! I will cut down the seasoned salt, to half, next time. As other reviewers suggested, I added 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and a teaspoon of sugar. used some plain Greek yogurt to add tang. Also, I added a pinch of Beau Monde and 2+Tbsps. of dill (We like dill:) It’s a great recipe, but the key is (as for many recipes) to tweak the seasonings to your personal taste. This will be my go to dill dip recipe! Thanks KimmieOH!,This Tastes Absolutely Nothing even close to Marzetti’s dill dip!! That is what I asked for. There is Nothing on the internet that comes close. Marzetti’s is loaded with chemicals! So I don’t want to use it, but it tastes really super awesomely good. However, it has MSG and a bunch of harmful cancer causing (and worse) ingredients!!! Why can’t I find something similar? It is the Only option at Kroger. I tried making it myself. There is a lot of tartness, tang to it. It has a bunch of different acidic ingredients to give it that. Not sugar, not parsley, not dried onion, or salt, or powdered garlic. It’s super thick too, more like cream cheese, it has thickeners ,etc. It’s terrible for your health. Someone please put a recipe for a ‘look alike’ dip for marzeti dill dip, thank you. If you like this dip in this post, you don’t know what marzetti’s tastes like, and how extremely different it is. I tried putting in vinegar to give it a tangy taste- no luck.
