Nick Stellino’s No-Cook Pizza Sauce, It doesn’t get any easier than this. This is Nick’s basic pizza sauce and the base for Pizza Margherita. Use the best quality tomato sauce and paste available. Normally I like to make this kind of thing starting with fresh tomatoes, but of course, it has to be summer and you have to get your hands on the tomatoes. I promise, you can’t get this flavor from hot house tomatoes. Freeze what you don’t need or use it to start spaghetti sauce., had made this a few times, never been disappointed. have added a bit more sugar, more garlic red pepper flakes and a 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt., I canned a HUGE amount of tomatoes this past summer. A lot of it was made into an unseasoned, pizza sauce. This recipe was my missing link to homemade pizza success! Not cooking the sauce is the secret that makes our pizza wonderful! Nick Stellino is a favorite anyway, so loving this sauce was a natural for us.
