Not Chopped Liver, This is a simple and delicious recipe for mock chopped liver It makes a great meatless appetizer Serve scooped on a bed of lettuce with a cherry tomato and some flatbread–voila! I always keep some cans of green beans on hand along with a bag of walnut pieces in the freezer, and I’m always ready to whip this up , Great! I have been making vegetarian chopped liver for years and years, the only difference is that I have used mushrooms instead of green beans This tastes almost the same as my own recipe and I am delighted to have a new twist on an old and loved recipe Used 1tsp salt, about 4 swirls on the pepper-mill and a dash of chili peppers Oh, and I sauteed some garlic with the onion (about 4 cloves, garlic goes with almost everything ) Thanks for posting , Great!
