Sweet Noodle Pudding/Kugel (Nut Topping),I like the way this sounds but haven’t tried it yet. It’s from Marcia Saltzman in Pingry Cooks. It has chopped nuts in the topping which is a bit different from the usual. If making for company, make sure there are no peanut allergies! You need to have this in the refrigerator all day or or night before baking so plan accordingly.,I took this Kugel to one of our family gatherings and my parents, who eat kugel ALL the time, said it was the best Kugel that they had ever eaten! The only change I made was to add a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon to the topping. I think it really carried the flavors thru. Thank you for posting this.,I made this last night for my neighbors house warming party. This Kugel went so fast, I didn’t have time to sample it for myself. I had so many wonderful compliments on this recipe, thank you so much for posting this. This has gone into my file of Keepers, which I will have to make again so I can taste it for myself.
