Oatmeal Apple Cookies,These delicious cookies are chock full of chewy yummy and mostly healthy ingredients. Enjoy!,Delicious! Used unsalted butter instead of shortening, omitted the raisin (love raisins, but wanted the apple to be most prevalent), and upped the apples by another 1/2-1/4 cup. Otherwise exactly as in the recipe, including cooking times. Perfect!,with no tweaking at all..these were so good..i did get about 48 as i made them smaller..hubby and i eat healthy enough so 1 or 2 a night with tea and with the shortening s not a disaster to our arteries..lol..ty for a lovely soft and chewy cookie..hggzz
