Oatmeal Butterscotch Bars,The first time I made this I ate the whole pan. The second time I made this I ate the whole pan. The third time I made this I told my friends to keep me away from the darn pan and they ate the whole thing. Now we are all really fat and I need 3 new baking pans… =),I was disappointed in these. I made per the recipe, but they were pretty crumbly and not really all that flavorful. used brown sugar, and half a bag of butterscotch. Just kind of blah. It was the texture that really threw me though.,I make these all the time – my only tweak is to substitute brown sugar for the white sugar. Someone always asks for the recipe.
