Oh so Yummy Chocolate Gooey Layered Dessert,The title speaks for itself. All I can say is mmmmmm…mmmmmmmm. A typically Southern recipe.,I don’t know what happened to the top cool whip layer but it was a mess. I made the whole cake the morning of the day before I wanted to serve it. We enjoyed (?) it around 10:00 PM the next day. It tasted good but the presentation left something to be desired. I had a very hard time cutting it since the cool whip top kept sticking to the knife. It just looked very messy, not at all like the picture.,This was great, but the crust was too dry so looked over some other recipes for this and added another 1/4 cup of butter. I also whipped 1 cup of heavy cream with a little sugar and vanilla in place of the cool whip and it worked phenomenally well.
