Old-Fashioned Rice Custard,This is absolutely the BEST rice pudding I’ve ever found. VERY custardy and creamy at the same time.,Im making one similar right now. I added cinnamon, a little nutmeg and a tad cloves. Wish it was done cooking.,This is absolutely by far THE BEST recipe for delicious custard rice pudding!! I made this last week and my sister and I just loved it and I am currently making some more because you just can’t have too much of a good thing. Superb! Absolutely delicious! I did deviate slightly and added some dried cherries to the rasins and mixed them both in the recipe and bummped it up to about 1 &1/4 cups just because I prefer a bit more fruit, and used half & half, rather than milk. A little indulgent, but sue me!
