Onions (Oignons) Monegasque, This is a Wivine de Stoop recipe from an old Home Beautiful recipe book Simple to do and a great alternative to pickled onions , This was surprisingly very good, we liked it a lot! I love trying new and unusual recipes, and this was easy to make, apart from the peeling of all the onions! It is a little sweeter than I would normally like, but nevertheless, we did enjoy this with homemade bread, cold cuts and salad this lunch time Next time, I may add less sultanas and maybe throw in a few pine nuts A very tasty version of pickled onions and I am so glad I tried this recipe – many thanks Mandy! Made for Holiday Tag FT:-) PS: Photos were taken but I will have to upload them later as my camera is packed for my trip back to the UK tomorrow!, This is a Wivine de Stoop recipe from an old Home Beautiful recipe book Simple to do and a great alternative to pickled onions
