Directions
Orange Colada from the Virgin Islands,Rum combined with pineapple,orange juice and pina colada mix takes you back to the salty seas of the caribbean. If Cruzan orange rum is not in your budget (like mine), use dark rum with 1 tsp. orange zest. A bit sweet, so some of us would like to add another 2 oz. of rum, your call. Entered into my recipe book for ZWT5.,These are very, very yummy. use unflavored rum, and the Pina Colada mix that comes frozen in a can. We enjoyed these at an outdoor wedding luncheon!,This a simply delicious drink! used the dark rum and orange zest option since I already had the rum on hand! I added about 4 drops of yellow food coloring and 2 of red to make then UT Orange and called them GO BIG ORANGE COLADAS for a football spread! I also topped them with whipped cream! Thanks for a great drink that is fruity and refreshing. Made for Adopt a Tag Fall 2009!
