Orange Yogurt Scones, This is a great breakfast or snack My mother handed down this recipe to me when I moved out of the house, recalls Hollye Chapman of Corvallis, Oregon It produces a very light scone that tastes great with orange marmalade, lemon curd or most kinds of jam Use any flavor fruit yogurt if you don’t have orange, she adds Recipe Source: TOH, WOW, these are delicious I did need to add in a bit more (maybe 3 tablespoons) of yogurt to get everything to come together I’m sure that that was my flour being overly dry though because I have add a bit more liquid to almost all of my baking recently This cones together very quickly and I only kneaded it 4 turns as it looked perfect at that point used Crystal margarine (Canadian brand Healthy Balance) and Splenda for the sugar They are light, very tender and simply scrumptious Thanks for sharing Ceezie
