Oven Baked Sweet Plantains

    I made these and you can just ignore all the haters! They were amazing! Crispy on the outside and sweet and soft on the inside! I sprayed them with olive oil, sprinkled a tiny bit (go easy) of kosher salt on, baked at 450 for 10 minutes, flipped them and left them in another 5 minutes. My husband and I gobbled them down with a glass of red wine! I will be making many more of these!

    Oven Baked Sweet Plantains, MMMM! I love plantains, especially sweet ones This is a lower fat method of making maduros without the use of oil and frying in a pan , I made these and you can just ignore all the haters! They were amazing! Crispy on the outside and sweet and soft on the inside!     Coat a Nonstick Cookie Sheet With Cooking Spray.

    Cut the Ends Off of the Plantains and Peel.

    Cut Each Plantain on the Diagonal Into 1/2 Inch Slices.

    Arrange in Single Layer and Coat Tops With Cooking Spray.

    Bake, Turning Occasionally, For 10-15 Minutes, Until Plantains Are Golden Brown and Very Tender.
