    With my tweaks, it turned out great. Meat had a roasted flavor and just fell off the bones. I only used 4 cups of water, I browned the meat in a pan before placing it in my crock pot. I cooked it for 12 hours. Last hour I added the veggies along with a sliced jalapeo pepper. YUM!!!

    Ox Tail Soup, Another great soup from the Diana Liu cookbook. If you like ox tails, you’re gonna love this., With my tweaks, it turned out great. Meat had a roasted flavor and just fell off the bones. I only used 4 cups of water, I browned the meat in a pan before placing it in my crock pot. I cooked it for 12 hours. Last hour I added the veggies along with a sliced jalapeo pepper. YUM!!!, First, I browned the ox tail in a pan. I only added 4 cups of water. I put it in a slow cooker for 12 hours. Last hour I added the potatoes, tomatoes, carrots and salt. I also added a large sliced Jalapeo. It turned out Delicious!!!!

    Place Ox Tail, Onions and Water in a Kettle; Bring to Boil.

    Cover and Simmer For 2 Hours.

    Add Potatoes, Carrots, Tomatoes and Salt.
