Oyster Sauce Beef and Snow Peas, Stir fried Chinese beef and peas – quick and easy! This is from A Hundred Years of Island Cooking, an old cookbook from the Hawaiian Electric Company., This was pretty good. used beef broth in place of the sherry. I had the butcher slice my meat and I think it was still too thick because it came out a little chewy. I tried my best to not over or under cook it though. I’ll probably try this again with chicken., I made this as a quick dinner last night. I served it over Ramen noodles and the sauce was excellent with them! I did alter the recipe slightly by omitting the sherry wine and adding in extra peas since we love them! Thanks for the great recipe!
