Nothing saucy about this., Wow, When I was a kid, we didn’t eat meat on some Wednesdays and never on any Fridays. We ate macaroni as a first dish almost every night. I’ve been looking at a canits what I had of mushrooms I got on sale and have all the other ingredients. It came out fabulous. I eye balled the measurements but did about a 50/50 butter olive oil combo. I added a few flakes of crushed red pepper flakes as I remember thats what mom did 75 years ago. Like a trip down memory lane. I need to go back to these recipes , they were great then, and just as good now.

    In a Skillet Melt 2 Tbsp Butter.

    Add Garlic, Allow to Brown, Then Add Mushrooms, Basil, Salt& Pepper.

    Cook Until the Mushrooms Are Just Tender.

    Add Remaining Butter and Olive Oil.

    Stir and Remove from Heat.

    When Pasta Is Cooked Reheat the Sauce Add Parsley.
