Perfect Boiled Shrimp

Cuisine:

Well seeing this recipe inspired our neighborhood to substitute the usual block party shrimp boild with this. A couple of us drove 10 hours down to the Gulf Coast and after 3 weeks we were abled to FINALLY haul in a 100 lb shrimp . We loaded it into our truck's 300 gallon freezer with a portable hoyer lift. Upon returning we hauled out from the attic our 50 gallon grill pot. We filled it up with clean water from the garden hose and emerged the giant shrimp. We made a few adjustments adding in 6 bottles of apple cider vinegar and 12 cans of bay seasoning . We stirred the water constantly under the outdoor dug flamed pit with a freshly bought and sterilized shovel. The giant shrimp eventually emerged like Godzilla like causing a some of the neighborhood to faint with its fierce red eye glaring at us! ( So best to this part without company involved !) We lifted the " shrimp " by hoyer lift again and emerged it into a nearby chlorine free cold swimming pool. We let it sit there roughly 12 seconds times 100. Then we resurfaced it and lowered it on a 9 by 13 foot rimmed sheet pan . We sawed off roughly 200 half pound chunks and served it to a crowd of 200 with a 35 pound vat of cocktail sauce and all the fixin's . Perfect !! I will never cook a 100 pound shrimp in another way again!! Thanks for the recipe !!
