Perfect Microwave Rice, A different way to make Perfect Rice in the microwave I didn’t believe that it would cook till tender without being covered, boy was I wrong From cookbook author Kathleen Daelemans , Thanks so much! Before I cooked the rice, I washed it a few times, because I remember from somewhere that rice can be washed before cooking I also just cooked the rice with water and vegan butter and the rice came out super soft and yummy! I was so excited to open the microwave door to see a beautiful bowl of cooked rice! I added salt and sweet chili sauce at the end Amazing! Super excited as this is my first time actually cooking rice successfully and it was in the microwave lol! Thank you for the recipe!, What a life saver! I never knew I could do this Living in an rv right now with only a microwave working for heat I made the perfect yellow rice I stirred it every three mins and added water twice towards the end I also microwaved an additional three minutes to really get the right texture Stirring is key w the extra water 😀
