Perfectly Chocolate Hershey’s Hot Cocoa,I have been making this recipe for ages now and when I first found it, it was on the side of Hershey’s Cocoa Tin. As a matter of fact, my mother used to make this for my sister and me in Cuba, when we weren’t even so little. Found this on hershey’s web site.,I wanted some hot chocolate tonight and all I had was Hersheys cocoa, sugar, and some half and half. used about a 1/2 to 2/3 cup of half and half, added water to make a cup, and followed the rest of the recipe. Delicious! I did use 2 tablespoons of cocoa (the “adult ” variation), which I think is mandatory because I wouldn’t want it any less rich and chocolaty.,Hello! If using rice, flax, almond, soy or coconut milk that is vanilla flavored, no need for the extract. I think this goes without saying. Also, I added 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract to mine. I think, havent tried, instead of milk you could use coffee.
