    I wanted some hot chocolate tonight and all I had was Hersheys cocoa, sugar, and some half and half. used about a 1/2 to 2/3 cup of half and half, added water to make a cup, and followed the rest of the recipe. Delicious! I did use 2 tablespoons of cocoa (the "adult " variation), which I think is mandatory because I wouldn't want it any less rich and chocolaty.

If using rice, flax, almond, soy or coconut milk that is vanilla flavored, no need for the extract I think this goes without saying Also, I added 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract to mine I think, havent tried, instead of milk you could use coffee

    Heat Milk in Microwave at High(100%) For 1 to 1-1/2 Minutes or Until Hot.
