Picnic Basket Bread

Yum! This was fantastic. Instructions were pretty good. I had a hard time spreading the dough out to the mentioned dimensions. WOW did the dough puff up a LOT! If you're inexperienced making dough like I was, don't be afraid to use that extra flour to help with the sticky-ness factor. Spread it out thin because like I mentioned it will puff quite a bit. The egg wash gave it a beautiful outer shell with the sesame seeds. My only change was to use ground turkey instead of chicken. Serve with pizza sauce.

Picnic Basket Bread, My aunt has been making this wonderful bread for years. You can make it ahead and serve it cold. It makes a great appetizer, and is wonderful left over. It also travels well, and is a hit at pot-lucks!, Yum! This was fantastic. Instructions were pretty good. I had a hard time spreading the dough out to the mentioned dimensions. Serve with pizza sauce., Amazing! When making it, I didn’t think it would have much flavor since the ingredients seem kind of bland, but I was pleasantly surprised. It both looked and tasted fantastic. I followed the recipe exactly, except I didn’t have swiss cheese so used an Italian mix.
