Stir in the Garlic-Ginger Mixture, the Pepper, and a Sprinkle of Salt. Cook One Minute, Stirring With a Wooden Spatula. Blend in the Sugar and Keep Stirring Until the Garlic Is Pale Gold. Do not Let the Pieces Get Dark Brown. |
