Poor Man’s Pudding Cake (Pouding Chomeur),Adopted recipe! A traditional French-Canadian recipe that is very common in Quebec. A syrupy “pudding” with a cakey topping. Very sweet.,Reduce the brown sugar to 3/4 cups and add 3/4 cups of maple syrup. The real stuff not artificial. Both versions of the recipe are authentic,,Great recipe! I messed up with the ingredients so it wasn’t too good but that was my fault.
