Potato Ham Chowder, Nice comforting flavor, nothing fancy., We love this recipe. I double or triple it though because we always have company when I make it. The first time I made it I didn’t have any dill so used thyme. I have tried it with dill and we prefer the thyme., Wow, this was probably in the top 3 ham and potato chowder recipes I have made so far! We loved it. I added carrots just because and I completely forgot the dill at the end. Regardless it was delicious and everyone licked their bowls :

In a Small Saucepan, Saute the Ham, Onion and Celery in Butter For 5 Minutes or Until Ham Is Slightly Browned and Vegetables Are Tender. Add the Broth and Potatoes; Bring to a Boil. Reduce Heat; Cover and Simmer For 15 to 20 Minutes or Until Potatoes Are Tender. |
