Pressed Cuban Sandwich With Garlic Dijon

Features:
    Cuisine:

This is ok for a kosher version of a ham sandwich. A true Cuban is made on Cuban bread, with yellow mustard, mayo, dill pickle slices and swiss cheese and roast mojo pork, sliced ham and Salami and then it is pressed. Some put a little butter on the bread when pressing it. Lettuce and tomato are optional. Nothing else. When you change the ingredients, it's no longer a Cuban sandwich. This sandwich was created in Tampa, FL over 100 years ago.

Pressed Cuban Sandwich With Garlic Dijon Butter,A sandwich that originated in Cuba! Yum! Adapted from Cooking Light magazine.,This is ok for a kosher version of a ham sandwich. When you change the ingredients, it’s no longer a Cuban sandwich. This sandwich was created in Tampa, FL over 100 years ago.,I agree with Miguel, this is NOT a Cuban Sandwich. It is a good turkey panini, but nothing in this sandwich is Cuban. So many people use the “Cuban Sandwich” name in any pressed sandwich that they don’t think is a panini. I just wish they would stop.
