Pumpkin Dog Cookies,This great recipe came from Charlotte McDonald of Greyhound Pets of America in the Orlando area. These wonderful people rescue retired racing Greyhounds. This is a healthy treat that my little dogs love as well.,I started making these a few years ago when I noticed, while passing out Christmas treats to my neighbors, there are more dogs than humans living on this block. I did buy a dog bone cookie cutter because I don’t want them confused with any human treats I pass out. I make a few hand patted biscuits with leftover dough. This year I blew my mixer motor making a double batch, so I recommend single batches at a time. I got 35 out of my double batch. Neighbors reports dogs go ape nuts over them.
