Quick Amish Friendship Bread or Muffins (No Starter Required),I love this bread and I had a craving for it, but didn’t want to wait the month it took for the starter to be ready, so, I modified it a bit. It might not be quite as tasty as the original, but it’s great if you want it in a hurry! I like to use butterscotch pudding for a different, but really nice flavor! Hope you enjoy!,The no starter recipe for Amish Friendship Bread called for one small box of vanilla pudding. Can the box of vanilla cook and serve pudding be used as it didn’t say instant.,In the Amish Friendship Starter original recipe, calls for raisins and nuts and the batter is much darker. My question is how much raisins and nuts can be added to this no starter recipe. Thank you. I like the idea of using part applesauce for some of the oil and would it be 1/2 applesauce and 1/2 oil??? Was happy to find this recipe as don’t like all the pre preparation for the Original Amish Friendship Bread Recipe. Thanks so much and Happy Baking.
