Quick Garam Masala,A quick and easy method for making the classic spice mix. I have often used this when I was in a hurry, and didn’t have time to grind my spices.,I’m sorry to say, but this is NOT a good recipe. I’ve checked other recipes for this and they make much more sense. This recipe calls for copious amounts of clove and black pepper. These are both highly potent spices and would completely overpower any other ingredients. This isn’t anything resembling garam masala. Rather, this is a hard slap to the taste buds. You really might seriously want to think about rebalancing this recipe. It’s an insult to Indian cuisine.,Excellent recipe. I ended up adding a tablespoon more cumin and half a tablespoon more coriander. The cloves are a little overwhelming, will adjust that next time. Great foundational recipe though. Thank you!
