Quick Honey-Spice Bread, I got this off a recipe card my Mom gave me Yum!, First time making this Looks great , Just made this bread this morning to try, its a lovely bread! Very quick to make up and uses ingredients I’d normally have on hand I did add the brown sugar as I thought I’d want more sweetness than the 1/2 cup of honey would give it and was omitting the glaze on top The sweetness was good but may decrease the brown sugar a bit next time Also increased the spices a bit and also added some nutmeg and cardamom as well, as I like a stronger taste but that is just personal preference All in all, very good and will definitely make it again to have with my evening cuppa! Thank you for a lovely easy recipe PS I baked for the 50mins and bottom was a bit overdone, but I will blame the oven as I have a new stove, much different from my old one and still getting used to how it bakes lol! Will check it before 50mins next time!

in a Large Bowl Combine First 7 Ingredients (and Sugar If Using) and Mix Well. |

Add Milk Mixture to Flour Mixture, Stir Together. |

Bake Until a Toothpick Comes Out Clean in the Center, About 50 Minutes in My Oven. |

Place Pan on Wire Rack to Cool For 10 Minutes, Then Turn Loaf Out Onto Rack to Cool Completely. |

to Make a Glaze For the Bread Use 3 Tablespoons Honey, 2 Tablespoons Margarine and 2 Teaspoons Packed Brown Sugar. Microwave on High Until Melted, Then Spoon Over Warm Bread. |
