We love this! I added a can fire roasted tomatoes and reduced ketchup by about half; left out salt when cooking lentils. Then instead of oven I just put the lid on skillet and cooked low for about 30 minutes. This made it more like chili than a casserole. Delish!

Ranch Style Lentils, One of my mom’s oldie but goodie recipes, We love this! I added a can fire roasted tomatoes and reduced ketchup by about half; left out salt when cooking lentils. Then instead of oven I just put the lid on skillet and cooked low for about 30 minutes. This made it more like chili than a casserole. Delish!, This was great, we served it like sloppy joes. I think next time I will double the sauce ingredients, but otherwise it’s fantastic, freezes well too! Thanks
