Red Kidney Bean Salad,This is a complimentary dish served by a local upscale restaurant. They serve it before you receive your salad along with a dish of fresh vegtable sticks and olives. I can make a meal on just on the veggies and this bean salad. (Prep time does not include the overnight chilling).,I believe this is the salad recipe that used to have at Mama’s Supper club in Minocqua WI, which I am so disappointed is not there anymore. It was always served with the veggie tray with olives and cheese. I love this salad so much. Didn’t think I’d ever get it again. Thank you!,used dry pinto beans that I cooked in the slow cooker with cumin, onion and garlic powder and vegata, had about 8 cups of beans. Added a little bit over the one cup for celery and onions. Omitted the sweet relish. Couldnt stop tasting it – it was still like warm. Forced myself to put it in the fridge for tomorrow. Cant wait to dig in again. Thanks for this great recipe!!
